Erase.com Opens 2026 Scholarship Application Window for Undergraduate Criminology and Legal Studies Students

by Binarynewsnetwork
  • New $1,000 award invites students to reflect on reading, mental health, and real world social impact

Miami, Florida, 29th Janaury 2026, ZEX PR WIRE, Erase.com announced that the Erase.com Scholarship is now open for 2026 applications on Bold.org. The scholarship will award $1,000 to one undergraduate student pursuing criminology or legal studies in a two or four year program.

The scholarship is designed to support students preparing for careers where the legal system intersects with everyday life, from criminal justice and policy to advocacy and community based services. Applicants are asked to submit a short essay that connects what they have learned through reading with their goals, and how their experience with mental health has shaped their beliefs, relationships, and career direction, including the social issue they want to help address.

“The people who change systems are usually the ones who can see the human story inside the paperwork,” said Cenk Uzunkaya, CEO of Erase.com. “This scholarship is our way of backing students who are doing the hard work of learning, reflecting, and turning that clarity into action.”

Eligibility and selection

The Erase.com Scholarship is open to:

  • Any two or four year undergraduate student

  • Studying criminology or legal studies

The selection criteria focuses on Ambition, Drive, and Impact.

Essay prompt and requirements

Applicants must submit a 400 to 600 word response addressing reading, mental health, and how they plan to make a positive impact through their career and social issue work.

“This prompt is intentional,” said Alyssa Durant, Director of Human Resources at Erase.com. “It rewards self awareness and purpose. We are looking for students who can connect what they have lived, what they have learned, and what they want to improve in the world.”

Key dates (2026 cycle)

  • Application deadline: April 15, 2026

  • Winner announced: May 16, 2026
